DEATH OF A PARTY?

The Matt Groening-curated event is delayed due to "sluggish" ticket sales...

The LOS ANGELES leg of the ALL TOMORROW’S PARTIES festival has been cancelled until the autumn due to “sluggish” ticket sales.

The event was due to take place between June 20 and 22, and is being curated by the creator of ‘The Simpsons’, Matt Groening. It will now take place between September 26 to 28.

The likes of Nick Cave, Breeders and Stephen Malkmus were all scheduled to play the festival, with shows scheduled to take place at numerous Hollywood venues.

The organisers now hope to reschedule the dates and use the same venues and some of the same bands on the September dates.
