Bad Seeds singer has teamed up with Australian skate company for limited edition design
Nick Cave has produced his own, limited edition skateboard.
As Pitchfork reports, the singer teamed up with Australian skate company Fast Times to produce the piece of sporting equipment. The board’s artwork, pictured above, was designed by US artist Chuck Sperry and uses lyrics from the Bad Seeds’ song ‘Nature Boy’, which featured on the band’s 2004 LP ‘Abattoir Blues’.

Nick Cave is set to perform a series of gigs in the UK this April and May as part of a wider European tour. The shows are billed as solo performances but will also feature a backing band comprised of Bad Seeds Warren Ellis, Martyn Casey, Thomas Wydler and Barry Adamson.
Nick Cave’s UK dates are as follows:
Glasgow Royal Concert Hall (April 26)
Edinburgh Playhouse (28)
Gateshead Sage (29)
Nottingham Royal Concert Hall (30)
London Hammersmith Eventim Apollo (May 2)
London Royal Albert Hall (May 3)
Last year, meanwhile, Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds re-released all 14 of their studio albums on vinyl. Their most recent LP, ‘Push The Sky Away’, was released in 2013, while Cave was also the focus of last year’s documentary film 20,000 Days On Earth.
