'A Skin Too Few: The Days of Nick Drake' will be shown at the 'Reel Madness' event...
NICK DRAKE is the focus of a new documentary to be screened as part of the ‘REEL MADNESS’ film festival.
‘A Skin Too Few: The Days Of Nick Drake’ directed by Jeroen Berkvens, traces the life and death of the singer/songwriter who died of a drug overdose aged 26, after recording three albums. The film will be shown on June 20.
The festival is dedicated to exploring portrayals and experiences of mental health, and takes place at the London ICA between June 19 and 22.
The ICA will also be screening ‘We’re Coming to Take You Away!!’, featuring ‘File Under Sacred Music’. The film is a remake of the bootleg video of Cramps performing at Napa Mental Institute, and will be showing on June 13.
Marking the 25th anniversary of the original performance, the film features live music by The Parkinsons and Holly Golightly.
