Canadian rockers will play five enormodomes later this year

Nickelback have announced a full UK arena tour for later this year.

The Canadian rockers, who released their seventh studio album ‘Here And Now’ on November 21 last year, will play five shows on the tour, which takes place in October.

The tour kicks off on October 1 at London’s O2 Arena and runs until October 7 when the band headline Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena. The trek also includes dates in Birmingham, Manchester and Newcastle.

Earlier this week, The Black Keys apologised to the Canadian band for calling them “shit”. The ‘El Camino’ duo has previously said that they believed “rock n’roll was dying because people were OK with Nickelback”, but drummer Patrick Carney said earlier this week: “I didn’t mean to single them out, it just came out. There’s much worse bands that Nickleback…maybe.”
