Plus the hip hop star announces the release date for 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' has been pushed back

Nicki Minaj has unveiled the video for her new track ‘Stupid Hoe’.

The clip, which you can watch by scrolling down and clicking below, shows shots of wild animals and the singer writhing around in a cage.

The track – posted online late last year – will feature on the rapper’s forthcoming album ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’, which the singer has now said won’t be released until April 3.

She wrote on her Twitter page:

New Album Date: April 3rd. Pink Friday: ROMAN RELOADED. But have no fear. Tons of surprises before then.

‘Stupid Hoe’ is the second taster to be made available from the LP, after the song ‘Roman In Moscow’.

Minaj had hinted that she would be recording material as her gay male alter-ego Roman for the record. The hip hop star originally introduced the persona on her song ‘Roman’s Revenge’, the opening track from her 2010 debut ‘Pink Friday’.

Before her album drops, Minaj is expected to join Madonna at the Super Bowl XLVI halftime show on February 5. The pair feature on the Queen of Pop’s new single ‘Gimme All Your Luvin’ along with MIA.

Minaj recently confessed that it had felt “so good” to lock lips with the pop icon for the track’s video.

She also recently overtook Eminem to become the most followed hip hop artist on Twitter.
