In December, Shura revealed that she gave up playing for Manchester City women’s team to pursue a music career, after being listed in the BBC Sound Of 2015 poll earlier this year, alongside breakthrough acts such as James Bay and Years & Years. That news came after Mumford & Sons took to Radio 1’s Live Lounge in April last year to cover her synth-pop track ‘2Shy’.
