Saosin frontman rushed to hospital

Reber suffers vomiting attack after London show

Saosin frontman Cove Reber was rushed to hospital with severe gastro-intestinal problems straight after performing in London on Saturday night (April 28).

Reber complained of feeling unwell before the US band played the Give It A Name show at Earls Court.

The singer then suffered a vomiting attack as soon as he came offstage, and was dashed to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. He was released yesterday afternoon (April 29).

Reber was still too ill to appear at last night’s Give It A Name show in Birmingham.

The band have apologised to fans, stating they “hope they understand that it was impossible to perform under the circumstances”.

Saosin’s headline gig tonight in Glasgow will go ahead, as will the rest of this week’s shows. The dates are as follows:

Glasgow ABC2 (April 30)

Manchester Academy 3 (May 2)

Leeds Cockpit (3)

London Metro (4)

Saosin release their new single ’Voices’ on May 14.
