Bo Diddley walking, but remains in intensive care

Manager says stroke has impaired Diddley’s speech

Bo Diddley is walking around but struggling to communicate following a stroke less than a week ago.

The star’s manager Margo Lewis says that he suffered no physical disability but that his speech and speech recognition have been damaged. He is still in intensive care but it is hoped he will be released shortly, according to a report from Reuters.

“He is having a hard time understanding us … We’re hopeful he can come back,” Lewis said in the report.

As previously reported here, Diddley was admitted to hospital on Sunday when he became disoriented after a concert at Council Bluff’s, Iowa.
