Former JUDAS PRIEST drummer DAVID HOLLAND has been convicted of the attempted rape of a special needs teenager.

Holland was found guilty today at Northampton Crown Court (January 23), of the charge, as well as a further five charges of indecently assaulting the teenager, according to the BBC.

The offences took place between July and December 2002 at Holland’s Northamptonshire home while he was giving the 17-year-old drumming lessons.

Holland will now await sentencing.

Judas Priest were one of the most influential UK metal bands of the 1970s and 1980s.
