ALIEN ANT FARM INVOLVED IN FATAL BUS CRASH

Members of the band are badly hurt, and the coach driver is killed...

Alien Ant Farm have been involved in a fatal bus crash in SPAIN.

The band are currently on the final dates of a European tour, and earlier this month played shows across the UK.

The band’s tour bus collided head on with a lorry in Cáceres at 2.20am today (May 22), as the group made their way to Lisbon for a show, according to the Spanish newspaper El Mundo.

The person driving the tour bus is said to have been killed, with bandmembers Dryden Mitchell and bassist Tye Zamora taken to hospital. However, their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

A UK spokesperson for the band told NME.COM that all the bandmembers are “doing OK”, and are expected to make a full recovery. He was unable to comment on other details regarding the crash.

It is also unclear what will happen to the remaining dates on the band’s European tour, which are due to end in Madrid on May 24.

From there, Alien Ant Farm were due to return to the US, where shows were lined up until the end of June.
