PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT

Acclaimed art-rockers do their "own thing in our own time and space, both musically and visually"...

FRIDGE follow up their acclaimed album ‘Eph’ – their first for Go! Beat – with a short tour next month.

The band tried to find “interesting” and off beat venues for the shows, which feature specially commissioned visuals by Lazy Eye as well as a selection of DJs.

“We were looking for an opportunity to do our own thing in our own time and space, both musically and visually,” said Kieran Hebden. “Not that this is a rock opera or anything, but this is a chance to show some of the subtleties of our music in a live environment. These will be our best shows yet because we’ve practised loads!”

The gigs are at London South Bank Purcell Rooms (October 4) Sheffield Museum Of Popular Music (5) Glasgow 13th Note (6) Manchester Night And Day (7) Bristol The Cube (8)

Kieran Hebden will DJ this Saturday (September 26) at Freekin the Frame at London WC2 The End on a bill that also includes Chicks On Speed, Midfield General and Christian Vogel of super_collider.
