Bill Murray spotted watching new band Girlpool at SXSW

Actor is in Austin, Texas for annual music festival

Hollywood actor Bill Murray was spotted watching new US duo Girlpool at SXSW in Austin, Texas yesterday.

The actor has been in Texas for the past few days and appeared on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live from the festival, revealing that rapper Rick Ross allegedly bailed on the offer of working with on a new Christmas show he’s starring in for Netflix.

Last night (March 21), Girlpool’s record label Wichita (also home to Waxahatchee, Cloud Nothings and Slow Club among others) tweeted that Murray was in attendance at their Fader Fort show.

Later on Instagram users began sharing pictures of the Ghostbusters and Groundhog Day actor at the gig.
