'Health issues in the band' cited as post-album European and American dates called off
Girl Band have pulled all of their outstanding tour dates for 2015, citing “health issues in the band”.
The cancellation follows the late calling to a halt of a show in Utrecht (The Netherlands) on October 23, which was followed by the cancellation of outstanding Dutch dates later that day.
The Dublin-based rockers released their debut album ‘Holding Hands with Jamie’ in late September, and were to tour large parts of Europe on a trip that was already underway, before continuing on to the US and Canada in late November. A month of pre-Christmas American dates and a New Year’s date in Cork, Ireland are all included in the cancellation.
The band have kept specific reasons for the 10 weeks or so of cancellations private. We wish the band all the best with their recovery.
A full list of CANCELLED UK and Ireland dates between now and the start of 2016 is as follows:
Rough Trade East, London (November 2)
Patterns, Brighton (3)
Soup Kitchen, Manchester (4)
Nation of Shopkeepers, Leeds (5)
