Will Smith appears in first music video for ten years – watch

Apple Music have debuted the video for Bomba Estéreo track 'Fiesta'

The video for the Will Smith-featuring Bomba Estéreo track, ‘Fiesta’, has premiered online.

The Colombian band’s song, released earlier this month, is Smith’s first venture back into music after a ten-year break.

“When I was told that Will Smith wanted to collaborate on a remix with Bomba, I couldn’t believe it,” Bomba Estéreo member Simon Mejia said in a statement. “This opportunity to work with Will was beyond anything we have dreamed of… It’s just magic.”

In the accompanying video, which you can watch below, Smith takes part in a warehouse rave alongside neon-painted revellers.

Smith recently revealed that he has recorded 30 new tracks. Speaking to Zane Lowe for Beats 1 Radio, the rapper and actor said that this fresh run of creativity has come in between shoots for the forthcoming Suicide Squad movie, and that he has thus far produced “six or seven [songs] that I really like”.

“I have so many things I want to say, and I’m struggling to say them in a way that fit the flavour of music I tend to like,” added Smith. “I’m from the era where it’s 16 bars and hook, 16 bars and hook, bridge, hook, and out.”

In the same interview, Smith announced his intentions to tour with former collaborator DJ Jazzy Jeff. The duo released their hit single ‘Summertime’ in 1991. They briefly reunited in 2013 for the Graham Norton Show, but now Smith has stated that they will embark on their first full tour.

He said: “I’m pretty certain I’m going on tour. Jeff and I actually never have done a full tour. I was always on The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, I was always either making a movie, so we’ve never actually done a full tour. So I’m looking this summer to be the first time that we go out on a full world tour.”
