Florence Welch, Foals and Mark Ronson donate items to charity jumble sale

London event in aid of Oxfam will also sell items from Catfish And The Bottlemen, Laura Marling and Hot Chip

Foals, Florence Welch and Mark Ronson are among the artists to donate memorabilia items to a charity auction to raise money for Oxfam.

The event at London Oval Space on May 9 will also sell items donated by Hot Chip, Catfish And The Bottlemen, Laura Marling, Mumford And Sons and Friendly Fires.

Ronson has donated one of his trademark suits, while Friendly Fires have contributed a pair of Aquascutum slippers and a suit designed by David Gandy. Other memorabilia includes a handbag given by Annie Lennox, plus personal items from Belle & Sebastian, Beth Ditto, Beth Jeans Houghton, Blood Red Shoes, Bombay Bicycle Club, Daughter, Enter Shikari, Erasure, Lianne La Havas, Metronomy, Paloma Faith and Rudimental.

The jumble sale is held by The Music Circle and Gemma Cairney in order to raise money for Oxfam’s work to empower women around the world, specifically women in politics in Myanmar. Stallholders include Caroline Flack, Rick Edwards and Jessie Cave. Entry is £5 plus “a good bag of jumble”. Also on sale will be new items at jumble sale prices from retailers such as Barbour, Sonos, AllSaints, ASOS and Beyond Retro. Find more information about the event here.
