The Australian singer performed every track from the band's 1987 LP

Courtney Barnett has covered INXS’ ‘Kick’ in full – watch a video of the performance above.

The performance took place as part of label Pure Pop’s Summer Of Classic Albums series. Released in 1987, ‘Kick’ was the sixth release from the Australian rock group, which was then fronted by the late Michael Hutchence.

Barnett recently finished recording her debut album, which is due for release in the new year. It will be the follow-up to her 2013 “double EP” ‘A Sea of Split Peas’.

Barnett and her band, The Courtney Barnetts, have also appeared at numerous festivals this summer including Glastonbury, Field Day, Liverpool Sound City, Live At Leeds and The Great Escape as well as Primavera in Spain and Portugal. She will now do a string of dates in the US, including Chicago’s Lollapalooza festival on August 2.
