The fan was featured in a video shot backstage with the rapper

A woman who appeared in a video apparently shot in the dressing room of 2 Chainz has threatened legal action against the rapper.

In the clip, the girl is ordered to leave the backstage area by a member security staff after an apparent case of mistaken identity. The video is overlaid with the hashtag ‘IsThisYoThot’, with ‘thot’ being a derogatory term for a woman. Click below to watch the video.

On March 27, the woman added a picture to her Instagram account, where she posts under the name Luvtinaa, of her feet on an office desk.

In the accompanying caption, she writes: “I’m at my lawyers right now, finalizing the paperwork, be prepared for a civil lawsuit @hairweavekiller @caviardreamz_ you had no right do ruin my life and tarnish my image like this! Now you will both answer for it!”

A further post was accompanied by a picture that included Star Wars character Jar Jar Binks and actress Whoopi Goldberg. With that, the woman wrote: “I feel like @hairweavekiller should feel as much embarrassment as I have endured these last couple of days for what he has done to my life, he has not apologized publicly and tries to contact me privately.”

In another Instagram post, she includes a screengrab of a tweet from a DJ reporting that the girl received an out-of-court settlement of between $50-$100,000 (£30-£50,000), to which she adds: “For the record I rejected their settlement offer, I’m taking it to court.”

The rapper has not issued a public statement.
