Albert Hammond Jr unveils video for new single ‘Strange Tidings’ – watch

Short film finds Strokes guitarist walking around Paris

Albert Hammond Jr has unveiled the video for his new single ‘Strange Tidings’.

The song is taken from his most-recent solo offering, ‘AHJ’, released last October on Cult Records, the label founded and run by his Strokes bandmate Julian Casablancas. The video was filmed in Paris and sees Hammond Jr walking around the city with the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre gallery and Pont de Bir-Hakeim and other famous Paris landmarks in the background.

‘AHJ’ was produced, engineered and mixed by Gus Oberg and recorded in Hammond Jr’s own studios in Manhattan and upstate New York.

The Strokes recently announced their live comeback. They will play the Governors Ball in New York in June, along with OutKast and Jack White.
