The New Jersey band will play four dates across the UK in October

The Gaslight Anthem have announced details of a brief UK tour for later this year.

The four-date tour will begin at London’s O2 Brixton Academy on October 15, before taking in gigs at Manchester’s O2 Apollo (October 18), Glasgow’s O2 Academy (October 19) and Birmingham’s O2 Academy (October 20).

Earlier this month, the New Jersey band played a one-off show at London’s KOKO. They will return to the UK for appearances at Reading & Leeds Festivals at the end of August.

The four-piece, fronted by Brian Fallon, will release their fourth album, ‘Handwritten’, on July 23. The album, the band’s first for Mercury Records, was produced by Grammy Winner Brendan O’Brien, best-known for his work with Bruce Springsteen and Pearl Jam.
