Tinchy Stryder and Dionne Bromfield to release Olympic single

Duo to cover Speech Debelle track for next year's event

Tinchy Stryder and Dionne Bromfield are set to release a special single for the 2012 Olympics.

The duo will cover Speech Debelle‘s ‘Spinnin”, reworking it as ‘Spinnin’ 2012′, which will be the official song for the London held 2012 Olympic Games.

Stryder told The Sun that he hoped the track would get him tickets to the event.

He said: “I didn’t get any tickets in the end, like loads of other people. I tried but had no luck. I’m hoping that this song will get us a few, though. I must be in with a chance, surely. I’m desperate to see some of the events. It will be massive. I’d love to watch the men’s 100m final.”

The rapper recently performed at the Man Utd vs Barcelona Champions League Final.

He is currently putting the finishing touches to his fourth album, ‘Lights, Camera, Action’. He released the first single from the album – ‘Spaceship’, featuring N-Dubz‘s Dappy – earlier this month.
