Jane's Addiction, The Lemonheads, Mick Jones – watch them all live

The first ever NME Awards USA takes place tonight (April 23) at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles at 9pm (PST).

And you can follow all the action as it happens simply by heading to NME’s MySpace page at Myspace.com/nmemagazine from 9pm, where you’ll find a full live broadcast of the event.

Your hosts for the evening will be singer Har Mar Superstar and comedian/actor Jim Jeffries.

The night’s entertainment will include live performances from Jane’s Addiction, The Lemonheads, Mick JonesCarbon/Silicon, Does It Offend You, Yeah? plus a host of special guests.

Jane’s Addiction have reformed especially for the awards – and are set to be crowned Godlike Genuises at the ceremony.

The Lemonheads will be honoured with the NME Classic Album award for their 1992 LP ‘It’s A Shame About Ray’, while former Clash legend Mick Jones will receive the NME Inspiration award.

Aside from the aforementioned winners, a host of stars will be arriving with their fingers crossed, hoping to bag an NME Award in the categories they are nominated in.

The likes of The Killers, Foo Fighters, My Chemical Romance, Kings Of Leon and The White Stripes are all up for gongs, with NME.COM users having been casting their votes in their thousands over the past few months. Find out who wins first by watching live.
