NME Breakthrough’s search for new talent ends soon

Plus two music fans win festival funds

NME‘s search for the best unsigned act in the UK, NME Breakthrough Supported By BlackBerry, will end on August 16.

The winning act will play onstage at Club NME KOKO in London, get a page feature in the magazine’s Radar section and come into NME HQ to get an electronic press kit made for them.

To enter, bands need to sign up to NME Breakthrough by August 16 – our team of writers and experts will be sifting through every profile. After that process we’ll announce the shortlist, which will go up for the public vote.

Meanwhile, NME Breakthrough has given away festival funds of £500 each to two music fans. User Paulob and TheWalrusWasPaul bagged the prizes after becoming the two users with the most NME Breakthrough friends at noon (BST) on June 1 earlier this year.
