The rapper will be scouring NME Breakthrough supported by Blackberry – the new music community for emerge bands and fans – to look for the best band or artist.
If you want to be in with a chance of winning and performing at the July 16-18 festival in London‘s Victoria Park alongside the likes of Dizzee, Bombay Bicycle Club, Hot Chip, The Maccabees and Mystery Jets, sign up to NME Breakthrough supported by Blackberry now.
The service allows users to upload their music for others to listen to, and as well as the Lovebox competition, NME Radar editor Jaimie Hodgson will be scouting the site for the best new bands to feature in the magazine and online.
NME Editor Krissi Murison, who is also on the panel for the Lovebox competition, praised the bands who have signed up to the service already.
She said: “The quality of artists who have signed up to the service already is incredibly impressive. With more signing up each day it’s clear that me and the other judges are going to have our work cut out in finding the best of the bunch to play at this year’s Lovebox.”
To enter your band into the competition, sign up to NME Breakthrough supported by Blackberry now. The closing date for the competition is June 7.
