‘Gold Lion’ shines at Number One

Yeah Yeah Yeahs have topped the NME Chart tonight with ‘Gold Lion’ (March 5).

The band have risen to pole position in the countdown, while The Rakes are at Two with ‘All Too Human’ and last week’s Number One ‘Tunnels’ from Arcade Fire falls to Three.

New entries this week come from Franz Ferdinand at Six with ‘The Fallen’ and Secret Machines at Ten with ‘Lightning Blue Eyes’, while The Young Knives re-enter the Top Ten with ‘Here Comes The Rumour Mill’ at Eight.
