MAXIMO PARK have topped the NME CHART tonight with ’GRAFFITI’ (May 8).

The band knock the Kaiser Chiefs’ ’Everyday I Love You Less And Less’ from the top spot whilst The Magic Numbers’ ’Forever Lost’ climbs from Five to Three.

New entries this week come from System Of A Down at Four with ’BYOB’, The Arcade Fire at Five with ’Power Out’, The Subways in at Seven with ’Rock ‘N’ Roll Queen’ and ’Please Stand Up’ from British Sea Power debuting at Eight.

Tonight’s countdown also sees a re-entry from Willy Mason at Six with ’So Long’.
