'You've Got The Love' beats 'Sweet Child O' Mine' to top spot

Florence And The Machine have made it a month at the top of the NME Chart, with ‘You’ve Got The Love’ spending its fourth week at the summit.

‘You’ve Got The Love’ held off competition from Taken By Trees‘ cover of Guns N’ Roses‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’, which went in at Number Two. The song, which is sung by former Concretes frontwoman Victoria Bergsman, is currently being used in a John Lewis TV advert.

Muse, Ellie Goulding, Depeche Mode and Kasabian feature elsewhere in the chart.
