New Yorkers top the chart and get second song in Top Ten


Vampire Weekend have topped the NME Chart today (January 18) with ‘Cousins’.

The New York band have also got a second song into the Top Ten, with former free download ‘Horchata’ climbing to Number Eight in the countdown.

Last week’s Number One, Ellie Goulding‘s ‘Under The Sheets’, drops one place, while Yeasayer‘s ‘Ambling Alp’ enters the Top Ten at Number Nine.
