The band's gear was being hidden in a Lincolnshire barn

Noah And The Whale have had their stolen tour equipment recovered.

The equipment, which was taken from outside a hotel in Manchester back in September, has now been returned.

Discovered almost 100-miles away in Lincolnshire, the collection of gear had been stashed in a barn after the thieves encountered problems with their getaway vehicle, reports Spinner.

Since the theft, two men have been arrested for the robbery, but after they failed to show up to retrieve the stolen equipment the barn’s owner became suspicious with the stencilled ‘Noah And The Whale’ lettering on the flight cases.

The suspected thieves, who were arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods, have been bailed until January 23.
