Noel Gallagher says meeting Barry Gibb was the highlight of Glastonbury 2016

The Bee Gees man was at Worthy Farm to guest with Coldplay

Noel Gallagher has described meeting Barry Gibb as the highlight of Glastonbury 2016.

The Bee Gees man was down at Worthy Farm on Sunday night (June 27) to make a guest appearance with Coldplay during their headline set.

Gibbs performed ‘To Love Somebody’ and ‘Stayin’ Alive’ with Chris Martin’s band after a video introduction by festival organiser Michael Eavis in which he said he always wanted The Bee Gees to play Glastonbury.

Chris Martin told the crowd that he could do one better and bring out an actual Bee Gee, before introducing Gibb.

“Just back from Glastonbury. This was THE highlight for me. One of my favourite songwriters of all time. BG & NG,” tweeted Gallagher, alongside a photo of him with Gibb.
