Primal Scream, Professor Green, Maverick Sabre will also play September event

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Chase and Status will this summer’s Jersey Live Festival.

The event takes place on September 1–2 at the Royal Jersey Showgrounds on the Channel Island, with the dance duo closing proceedings on the first night (September 1) and the former Oasis man topping the bill on the second (September 2).

Speaking about the headliners, co-organiser Warren Le Sueur said: “What a pair of headliners! Noel is a certified godlike genius, and he’ll be playing a whole load of new music and classic Oasis songs; it’s going to be very, very special! Chase & Status were just amazing here back in 2010 and they’ve gone on to become even bigger and better.”

Also confirmed to play the event are Primal Scream, Professor Green, The Stranglers, Devlin and Maverick Sabre, with many more acts set to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
