Jay-Z, Santogold and P Diddy are all involved in the film

‘Notorious’, the biopic of the late 90s rapper Notorious BIG, will be released in cinemas across the UK from February 13.

‘Notorious’ stars Brooklyn rapper Jamal Woolard in the lead role, and sees Notorious BIG associate P Diddy take the position of executive producer.

Diddy said of the film in a statement: “I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the team which brings the story of my friend, BIG, to the big screen.

“The movie is a mother’s story and his mom was instrumental in getting this film made. ‘Notorious’ is a tour de force.”
