Film for new single takes aim at monarchy
Oasis will debut the video for their new single ‘Falling Down’ at 5pm (GMT) today (February 3).
The clip will also be shown on Channel 4 at 11.35pm (GMT).
The ‘Falling Down’ promo mocks the British monarchy, cutting real footage of Prince Charles with footage showing the double life of a would-be royal.
However a spokesperson for band explained that “the video is director Wiz’s vision and is not directly related to the song”.
They added: “Only Wiz knows what the story is but themes around fame, celebrity and secret lives are clearly part of his inspiration.”

‘Falling Down’ is set to be released as a single on March 9.
