Oasis to play tiniest ever show

Noel Gallagher to perform in a fan's living room

Noel Gallagher is to perform his smallest gig ever – in the front room of a fan’s house.

One Radio 1 listener will welcome the Oasis leader as part of Radio 1’s very first Live Lounge tour, hosted by Radio 1 DJ Jo Whiley and taking place from next week between November 27 to December 1.

Gallagher’s gig is part of a week of live performances direct from the living rooms of Britain’s top headline acts including Lily Allen (27), The Kooks (28), The Ordinary Boys (29) and Lostprophets (30).

Allen’s gig takes place on a Thames houseboat, The Kooks will perform from their best mate’s London lounge, The Ordinary Boys will play in the house singer Preston shares with his wife Chantelle, while Lostprophets will perform from singer Ian Watkins’ mum’s house.

The low-key Gallagher show takes place on December 1.
