CHARITY BEGINS IN… MANCHESTER

The Gallagher brothers display their generous side...

Oasis have donated a stack of rare memorabilia to aid a landmine charity based in MANCHESTER.

The group have given a signed print, one of only 300, to the Mine Action Group (MAG).

The Gallagher brothers aren’t the only musicians backing the charity, with numerous other Manchester groups also assisting the cause. Doves and Elbow have both donated signed artwork, while Badly Drawn Boy has contributed a gold disk.

A spokesperson for the charity told NME.COM that the artwork will be displayed in Manchester in the coming weeks, with an auction to follow later in the year.
