The former Take That star thumps Oasis frontman [/b]Liam[/b] in 'who's richest' chart..

Oasis singer LIAM GALLAGHER and arch-rival Robbie Williams have been pitted against each other in a battle to see who’s richest – and Robbie’s come out on top.

The former Take That singer was number eight in a chart estimating the top 30 wealthiest entertainers, aristocrats, footballers, models, pop stars and entrepreneurs under the age of 30 in the UK, beating Liam Gallagher who came in at number nine. The two are currently involved in a war of words about who’s hardest, with Robbie recently offering Liam out for a fight for a #100,000 bet, as previously reported here on nme.com.

In the chart, Robbie was estimated to be worth #11.25 million, with Liam showing a balance of just #8million in comparison.

The chart, compiled by yesterday’s The Observer newspaper, put The Spice Girls as the top four earners in the music world, followed by the likes of Gary Barlow and Jamiroquai’s Jay Kay. all feature in a list of the thirty richest young entertainers published yesterday (March 12) in The Observer newspaper.

Victoria Beckham is estimated to be the richest of all the Spice Girls at #25.5 million, followed by Mel C, who is worth #22.5 million. The other two members of the band, Melanie Brown and Emma Bunton are both reportedly worth #22 million each. Ex-Spice Girl Geri Halliwell is rated seventh in the overall list, worth #19.6 million.

Also included in the top 30 are Jamiroquai‘s Jay Kay, worth #19 million, All Saint Shaznay Lewis (#7 million) and The Prodigy‘s Liam Howlett (#6 million).

The ten richest musicians in the list are, in order:

The wealth of the young entertainers pales in to insignificance in comparison to aristocrat Luke Oliver Berkeley Portman, who at the age of 16 is set to inherit approximately #850 million.
