SCENE SET FOR GLASTO!

The perennial festival favourites are the latest big name to confirm they will be playing at Worthy Farm next month...

Ocean Colour Scene, Elliott Smith, Terris, BADLY DRAWN BOY, DOVES, OOBERMAN and JJ72 are among the latest additions to this year’s GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL, nme.com can confirm.

Ocean Colour Scene, along with the Happy Mondays, have been added to the bill on the Pyramid Stage at this year’s festival, which takes place over the weekend of June 23-25 at Worthy Farm, Pilton.

They join Pyramid Stage headliners Chemical Brothers, Travis, David Bowie and Embrace.

In addition, the Glastonbury Festival website, [url=]www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk, have announced details of the bands scheduled to play on this year’s New Bands stage.

Among the artists confirmed to join headliners Flaming Lips this year are Elliott Smith, Rae & Christian, Badly Drawn Boy, Broadcast, Wheat, Yo La Tengo, Doves, Ooberman, Ben and Jason, My Vitriol, Terris, JJ72, Motorhomes, Orange Can and Spearmint.

This year’s New Bands stage also features a competition for unsigned bands. Festival goers are urged to visit the Glastonbury website, listen to the shortlisted bands, and vote for their favourite. The winners will play at this year’s festival.
