Rap group reveal a second track from 'OF Tapes Vol 2'

Odd Future have unveiled another new track from their forthcoming album ‘OF Tapes Vol 2’. The song is titled ‘NY (Ned Flander)’ and you can watch it by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking.

The video for the track features the group’s mainmen Hodgy Beats and Tyler, The Creator, with Hodgy playing an overweight, deadbeat dad and Tyler as his baby.

‘NY (Ned Flander)’ is the second track to be taken from ‘OF Tapes Vol 2’ after the LA rap collective debuted ‘Rella’ online late last month.

Speaking to NME earlier this month, Odd Future associate Lucas Vercetti – who has a guest role in the new promo – said the band were looking to push boundaries in their videos, commenting: “There’s a continuation of the theme [from ‘Rella’. It’s really funny.”

‘OF Tapes Vol 2’ will be released on March 19 and will feature new material from Frank Ocean, Left Brain and The Internet as well as Tyler and Hodgy Beats. However, rapper Earl Sweatshirt, who recently reunited with the group, is not expected to be involved as he is not mentioned in any of the LP’s tracklisting.

Odd Future will play a handful of tour dates in the UK and Ireland later this month. The gigs kick off Birmingham’s O2 Academy on March 28, and end on April 2 at Dublin Olympia. The run also includes shows in London, Manchester and Glasgow.
