One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson calls BBC host ‘a little shit’ for not listening to new single

BBC Northern Ireland presenter Stephen Nolan told Tomlinson that he had not heard 'Perfect'

One Direction member Louis Tomlinson called a BBC News presenter a “little shit” in an interview after the host admitted he had not heard the group’s new single ‘Perfect’.

Tomlinson spoke to BBC Northern Ireland presenter Stephen Nolan backstage at the band’s Belfast gig this week when the interview turned to the subject of ‘Perfect’.

‘Perfect’ was unveiled last week to accusations that it sounds like Taylor Swift’s song ‘Style’. Listen to both songs here.

“‘Perfect’, yeah, the new single. Have you heard it?” Louis asks Nolan, who responds: “Do you want me to tell you the truth? No I have not.” Tomlinson then says: “You should have before this interview, you little shit.”

One Direction’s UK tour was disrupted by illness this week when the band were forced to cancel their show at Belfast’s SSE Arena at last minute on Tuesday night (October 20) when Liam Payne was taken “suddenly ill.”

A spokesperson from the venue appeared on stage minutes before the band were due on stage at 8.30pm, telling fans the concert had been cancelled and asked them to exit the building slowly.

The gig will now take place at the same venue on Friday (October 23). Original tickets will apply.
