It's all over for 'The Osbournes'...
THE OSBOURNES will not make any more episodes of their reality TV series, they have revealed.
Speaking to reporters at the MTV Europe Music Awards last night (November 18), rocker Ozzy said: “At the end of it I didn’t like having cameras around the house all the time. When you watch a 25-minute episode, I’ve been filming all day.”
‘The Osbournes’ ran on MTV for three seasons and earned the family an estimated £46 million, with the renewed interest in Ozzy seeing sales of his merchandise rocket to £27.2million, reports the BBC.
However, the rehab dramas of children Kelly and Jack have seen the family taste the other side of blanket publicity.
Sharon also said she believed it is time for the family to move on.
“Now everybody’s doing reality shows,” she said. “He’s done it, he’s been there, he’s got to do something else.”
Talking about the success of The Osbournes series, Ozzy said: “I suppose Americans get a kick out of watching a crazy Brit family like us make complete fools ourselves every week.”
