DARK CHRISTMAS!

It's the Prince of Darkness (and daughter) against The Darkness! Oh, and 'Pop Idol'...

OZZY

OSBOURNE and daughter KELLY have announced final details of their joint Christmas single.

In a battle which will see the ‘Prince of Darkness’

take on The Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne and Kelly

release ‘Changes’ on December 8.

The single will be the first time the pair have sung together on a record.

The original

version of the single appeared on ‘Black Sabbath Volume 4’,

initially a hit for Ozzy Osbourne‘s old band in 1972. The words have been rewritten to

emulate the relationship between Kelly and

Ozzy Osbourne.

The ‘Pop Idol’ finalists are the

current favourites for the Christmas Number One with their cover of the John Lennon

festive classic ‘Happy Xmas (War Is Over), with The Darkness running a close second with ‘(Christmas Time) Don’t

Let the Bells End’.

As previously reported on

NME.COM, Ozzy Osbourne was forced to pull a string of European dates earlier this month after debilitating tremors, which he later confirmed was part of a hereditary disease that has plagued him since his twenties.
