Ozzy Osbourneand daughter KELLY are leaving their record label, SONY MUSIC.

However, there is speculation in the US press that the split is due to poor album sales.

Kelly Osbourne’s debut, ‘Shut Up’ has sold fewer than 150,000 copies, according to chart monitoring agency,

SoundScan.

Sharon Osbourne told People magazine: “No one’s done anything wrong. After all this time you get used to each other, so it’s no longer exciting when a new album is turned in. We want that excitement back.”

Ozzy Osbourne has been with Sony Music for more than 20 years, releasing his debut solo album, ‘Blizzard Of Ozz’ in 1980.

Kelly joined Sony subsidiary label, Epic, in November when she released her debut album.

A spokesperson for Epic had no comment for MTV.
