OZZY OSBOURNE has been forced to postpone dates on his US tour after breaking a leg, NME.COM can reveal.
The former BLACK SABBATH frontman suffered a stress fracture in his leg after falling over when getting out of the shower, according to a statement on his official website www.ozzyosbourne.com. The statement reads in part: “He was unaware that the leg was fractured and continued to perform each night until the pain became unbearable.”
The accident happened before a gig in Tucson, Arizona on October 31, which was part of Osbourne’s Merry Mahem tour of the US with Rob Zombie.
Osbourne continued to tour for a week, unaware of the extent of his injury. He finally saw a doctor on Thursday (November 8) and was advised to rest and stop touring. The heavy metal star has now flown to Los Angeles to consult with his personal physician to assess the extent of his injuries.

The dates are postponed until further notice. It is expected that the tour will resume in Grand Fork, North Dakota on November 29.
It has not been revealed which leg the singer has broken.
