Fresh details emerge on new Osbournes reality show

'Ozzy And Jack's World Detour' is due to premiere later this summer

Fresh details have been revealed of Ozzy Osbourne‘s new reality series featuring his son Jack.

The 10 episode series has been named Ozzy And Jack’s World Detour and it will see the pair visit sites such as Stonehenge, Roswell, Mount Rushmore, the Jamestown Settlement and Sun Studios. As previously reported they will also visit the Alamo, where Ozzy will make amends for urinating on the Alamo Cenotaph monument in 1982.

Osbourne is alleged to have drunkenly urinated on the monument in San Antonio while wearing a dress belonging to his then future wife Sharon, who had hidden all his clothes so he couldn’t go outside.

The Alamo Cenotaph is a memorial in honour of those who died during the Battle of the Alamo in 1836. Following the arrest, Osbourne was banned from the city for a decade.

The Osbournes will also explore some of history’s stranger sites, including a Cold War-era missile silo, Britain’s WWII codebreaking headquarters, Bletchley Park, a private museum of working war machines and a gold mine operated by a man named Rattlesnake Randy. The first episode is set to premiere on the History Channel on July 27, The Wrap reports.

Sharon Osbourne recently confirmed reports that she had split from her husband after more than 33 years of marriage.

The former X Factor judge and current star of chat show The Talk in the US wed the Black Sabbath frontman in 1982, having three children together. Their family life later became the focus of MTV reality show The Osbournes, which aired between 2002 and 2005.

She added: “He’s given me an unbelievable life and he’s given me three gorgeous children and I love him. I’m just trying to take it all in, take it all in and process it… I’ve been avoiding looking at any pictures or reading anything. I know what’s gone on, and I don’t need to read about it, it’s like putting salt in a wound and I don’t need to.”
