Paul Weller has signed a worldwide multi-album deal with V2 RECORDS after months of speculation.

The move comes after the singer parted company with Independiente in March.

A statement from V2 said, “As a highly respected singer, musician and writer and one of the most influential artists of his generation V2 are very excited to this fantastic addition to its roster.

Paul Weller has been making vital music, whether with his time with Jam, Style Council or solo, for well over two decades in his ever-changing career. Always cool, consistently classic and contemporary, Paul Weller still inspires and excites in equal measures.”
