The Modfather plays venues in four corners of the country, including a mini-festival in London...
Paul Weller will play a series of UK dates this autumn taking in venues in four corners of the country, nme.com can exclusively reveal.
The modfather kicks off in Poole Arts Centre on October 28, rounding up in London’s Earls Court on November 4. The London date will be a mini-festival with some major support acts to be announced in the coming weeks.
And it’s hoped that if Noel Gallagher is invited to join his friend onstage at any of the shows he will, on this occasion, be allowed to play.
Gallagher was prevented from joining Weller for his final number at V2000 in Chelmsford on Sunday (August 20). Organisers complained Weller’s set, already running ten minutes over, would eat into headliner Richard Ashcroft‘s slot if allowed to continue.
The dates in full are as follows: Poole Arts Centre (October 28) Hereford Leisure Centre (29) Blackpool Empress Ballroom (31) Carlisle Sands Centre (November 1)Hull Arena (2) London Earls Court (4) Tickets go on sale on September 6.
