The event on December 20 will raise money for the homelessness charity

Paul Weller and Graham Coxon will both be playing the Stand Up and Rock event in order to help raise money for homelessness charity Crisis.

They will be joining comedians Tim Minchin, Jo Brand and Ross Noble on December 20 at London Hammersmith Apollo.

The show will mark the 40th anniversary of Crisis at Christmas, which has been providing help and services for the homeless since 1972. The Choir With No Name – a choir made up of homeless people – will also be appearing at the event. In the past the choir have performed alongside Coldplay.

Of the show Paul Weller said: “It’ll be good to get on stage for Crisis again. In hard times like these more and more people need their help so I’m happy to support Stand Up and Rock as Crisis at Christmas turns 40.”

Graham Coxon added: “I am honoured to be supporting Crisis again, the work they do is so important and this is going to be a great night.”

Tickets go on sale Friday, November 4 at 10am.
