Peaches has collaborated with Yeah Yeah Yeahs member Nick Zinner for a new track.
‘Bodyline’ has been released as part of the Adult Swim Singles series, available as a free download and streaming below.
Speaking to The Vine about the collaboration, Peaches said that she initially intended the scrap the team-up: “Nick Zinner from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, he came over and did some incredible work with us but, I don’t know, it just didn’t work. Not what he did but I was much more into a minimal feel.”
The song will not feature on the musician’s upcoming album, ‘Rub’, which will be released on September 25.
Ex-Sonic Youth member Kim Gordon recently revealed that she’s worked with Peaches on a new song.
The musician told Marc Maron’s WTF podcast: “When I went in there [to record] it was just kind of a minimal hip hop track, and I just put something down and then Peaches built a rap around it”.
Gordon also stated that she’s been filming a music video for the song, entitled ‘Close Up’, with Peaches in Los Angeles.
It’s not known whether the Peaches-Gordon collaboration will feature on her new LP.
