PEARL JAM ROSKILDE SHOW WILL NOT BE RELEASED

The tragedy-hit performance will not be included in the imminent series of official live bootlegs from the band...

Pearl Jam will not release the recording of their tragedy-struck ROSKILDE FESTIVAL gig as part of their series of live album releases.

Yesterday, nme.com reported that the concert would be included in the series being recorded at every gig on their European tour, which was devised to combat bootleggers.

It has now become clear that only the gigs recorded from May 23 to June 29 – the day before the Roskilde tragedy, in which nine people died after a Front of stage crush while Pearl Jam played – will be released.
