Pearl Jam to release remastered ‘Ten’ tracks via mobile phones

The band strike an exclusive agreement with Verizon

Pearl Jam are reportedly making tracks from their classic 1991 album ‘Ten’ available exclusively via Verizon Wireless.

The newly remastered tracks can be purchased as ringtones, ringbacks and ringback jukeboxes, reports Billboard. The selection will include previously unavailable ringtones for ‘Once’ and ‘Why Go’ as well as videos for ‘Jeremy’, ‘Oceans’, ‘Alive’ and ‘Even Flow’.

Each week a different song will be made available to Verizon customers until the new version of ‘Ten’ is reissued in the US on March 24. The first song to be made available will be ‘Once’ on January 13.
