A US newspaper reports that the legendary producer told his chauffeur, "I think I killed somebody"...
A day after he was formally charged with murder, more details are emerging in the PHIL SPECTOR case.
Police reports obtained by the Los Angeles Times claim that on the night actress Lana Clarkson died, Spector told his chauffeur, “I think I killed somebody”, reports ABC.
The legendary producer was charged with the murder yesterday (November 20) in California, following an investigation into the events of February 3 this year, when Clarkson was found dead at Spector’s home.
Spector must now return to court on January 23 for a preliminary hearing. His defence attorney Robert Shapiro recently issued the following statement: “We have assembled a team of scientific experts which is among the most respected and prestigious in the world. Based on this team’s findings of this horrible human event, any jury will conclude that Phil Spector is innocent.”
Spector, who has always denied the charge, claimed in an interview with Esquire magazine that Clarkson may have killed herself.
